Pouring pod vessels developed directly from fruiting forms and carnivorous pitcher plants seen on display in Kew Gardens – magically supported by delicate tendrils. The ‘Pod Shakers’ were originally created during Lockdown 2020; with ‘seeds’ enclosed; they can be personal comforting hand-held sculptures. All are in stoneware ceramic, some with 24 carat gold, or pearl lustre embellishment.
